Sarah Nicole Kennedy (she/her/hers) is a queer Brooklyn-based graphic novelist and illustrator who graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2022.
Her debut as an illustrator, The Greenies is a series of three graphic novels written by Emma Mills, published by Henry Holt, the first releases in 2026. Sarah is also illustrating the graphic novel adaptation of The Doll People by Ann M. Martin and Laura Godwin, adapted by Ivy Noelle Weir for publication in 2028.
Sarah’s work draws inspiration from mystery novels, ’90s cartoons, and her childhood growing up in Boulder, Colorado. Outside of work she can be found propagating her houseplants and making comics about life in Brooklyn with her partner, Cody, and their cat and dog, Quinn and Large Marge.
